When we first moved to Ohio from out of state, we were bombarded with realtor recommendations. It was overwhelming and made it very difficult to choose who we should work with. Knowing that the housing market in Columbus was (and still is) extremely fast-paced, with very low inventory and houses getting multiple offers, we knew a great realtor would be absolutely critical!

I had heard AMAZING things about Stephanie Pagac from a coworker — about how easy going she is and how great she is with helping people from out of state, so I reached out to her. She offered to meet me over a glass of wine to discuss what my family was looking for. Let me tell you — this woman is so fun to be around. Before I finished my wine I knew that I wanted Stephanie to be our realtor, and I wanted her to be my friend, too!

Stephanie was extremely organized and professional from day one until closing. Early on, she asked excellent questions to help understand exactly what we did / didn’t want in a home. She never dominated the conversation or tried to steer us in certain directions, but simply listened, took notes, and asked clarifying questions to understand our ‘must-haves’.

Stephanie knows NW Columbus extremely well, and it made the process so much easier on us! With housing flying off the market in under 24 hours, it was amazing to have her insight on the potential pros/cons of houses before we even viewed them. She knew which houses would have loud highway noise, which had minuscule yards, and which neighborhoods had parks / walking trails within the development.

We ended up seeing a ridiculous number of homes, maybe 25-30 over a 3 month period, and Stephanie encouraged this rather than complained about it! She was so patient and just wonderful about everything; always rearranging her schedule to get us into our ‘favorite’ houses as quickly as possible, and responding to calls/emails incredibly fast.

Stephanie went above and beyond in SO many ways. When we would ask to go see a house, she would often find 1-3 more houses that were for sale (or coming soon for sale!) in that neighborhood for us to see at the same time. She quickly understood our style and really knew what we would or wouldn’t like in a house early on. She also has incredible foresight on resale value, thinking of things I never would’ve considered.

On top of everything, Stephanie handled unexpected obstacles like a true professional. When our existing home’s pending sale fell through, she stayed patient as we waited for a new offer and put our housing search with her on hold. Later, the first house we put an offer on had inspections that showed severe water damage and mold, and she offered us possible solutions and explained our options, rather than showing defeat. She then helped us compete against multiple bids for a different home, and helped us to understand escalation clauses, best/final offers, etc. Finally, when I lost my job mere weeks before closing on the final home we selected, Stephanie was extremely sympathetic and caring, and talked us through the process of how to adjust our loan and closing plans so that all went smoothly in the end.

Like I said, from start to finish Stephanie was amazing. She is an extremely talented realtor and knows her stuff, plus she kept us smiling and excited about the process even when things were not going our way. She’s an incredible realtor, a really nice person, and I will absolutely recommend her to everyone we know!!"
